Area aims to present Malta rental listings in a clear, keyboard-friendly, and readable format. Because the product uses a full-screen vertical feed, some patterns differ from traditional listing sites.

2. What we support today

• Semantic page structure on listing and legal pages
• Text labels and aria-labels on primary navigation and actions
• Sufficient contrast for core UI text on the dark interface
• Listing detail pages with structured headings and readable descriptions
• No account barrier — the service works without forms or authentication

3. Known limitations

• The vertical feed relies on scroll and gesture interactions that may be harder with some assistive technologies
• Photo carousels inside listings are primarily pointer-driven
• Map modals depend on a third-party map provider
• Some motion effects animate listing transitions and badges

4. Keyboard and pointer alternatives

Explore, search results, favorites, and canonical listing pages (/listing/[id]) offer more conventional page layouts that do not depend on the full-screen feed gesture model. If the feed is difficult to use, these sections may be easier to navigate.

5. Visual design

Area uses a dark theme with high-visibility accent color for active states. If contrast or text size is a barrier for you, browser zoom and system display settings remain available.

6. Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Area, please tell us what page you were on, what you tried to do, and which browser or assistive technology you use. We review reports and prioritize fixes that unblock access to listings and core navigation.

7. Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We update components as the product evolves and aim to align with WCAG 2.1 Level AA where practical for a feed-first experience.
