I built Area after going through the search myself — one feed, kept up to date, and free to use.
When I first landed on this island, I didn't expect apartment hunting to become the hardest part of settling in. Like so many people here, I spent evenings bouncing between chaotic Facebook groups and endless agency sites — only to call about a place and hear it had been rented months ago. What should have taken a few days quietly turned into a full-time job.
I kept thinking there had to be a better way. Something more visual, faster, and above all, centralized in one place. So I built it.
That's Area.
I wanted it to be 100% free, simple, and stress-free. Area filters out expired listings, gathers rentals from across the market, and puts the best finds in one scrollable feed — so you spend less time hunting and more time choosing.
Whether you're Maltese born and raised or a newcomer still finding your footing, I genuinely hope this saves you time — and spares you a few headaches I know all too well.
